At Ascension Baptist Church, we believe in Senior Adults. Our main desire is to help Senior Adults believe in themselves, and allow them to make a Kingdom size Impact on our community through fellowship, ministry, worship, evangelism and discipleship. Senior Adults are a great source of wisdom and experience that we can use as we work together for the Kingdom of God.
And even when I am old and gray, O God, do not forsake me, Until I declare Your strength to this generation, Your power to all who are to come.

YOUNG@HEART SCHEDULE
Young @Heart is the senior adult ministry, (50+), of our Ascension. We meet every fourth Tuesday of the month, (except June and July), for a meal, fellowship and a time of challenge from the Word of God. We partner together in ministry with people in our community and organizations like The Baptist Friendship House in New Orleans and the Seaman's Center in Gonzales. We take several day trips a year to enjoy the opportunities around our community and state to visit and enjoy together, You are always invited to join us as we gather.
