We know parents are
interested in their preschoolers; therefore, our church
is committed to maintaining a physically and emotionally
secure environment where their preschoolers may share in
some of the beginning concepts of God, Jesus, the
natural world, the Bible, family, others, and
themselves.

Children's Ministry |

The
Lord Jesus loved the little children and so do we. We pay
special attention to their needs and are always eager to
assist their parents in a variety of ways. We strive to
make our children a well-deserved priority.

The
purpose of our student ministry is to help pre-teens and
teenagers to no longer be conformed to the world that we
live in, but to be transformed by Jesus Christ through
ministry, discipleship, worship, evangelism, and
fellowship so that we will change the lives of our friends
and family, and the world that we live in.

Women’s Ministry |

The
Women’s Ministry of Ascension Baptist exist to educate and
involve women in the cause of missions for Christ through
spiritual growth, fellowship and mission activities in an
atmosphere that is warm, welcoming, encouraging and
developing for women of all ages.

The
Ascension Baptist Men’s Ministry exists to teach and
engage men in Christian Missions while developing men of
all ages into spiritual leader of their church, their job
and their families through the participation in
fellowships, small group prayer/bible study, and mission

Adult Ministry |

At Ascension Baptist Church, we believe in Senior Adults.
Our main desire is to help Senior Adults believe in
themselves, and allow them to make a Kingdom size impact
on our community through fellowship, ministry, worship,
evangelism and discipleship.

Ministries |

The purpose of creative ministries is to
minister to people of all ages through interpretive
movement, puppetry, drama, music, humor, and personal
testimony. This ministry team serves as a witness of
Jesus Christ, with each person using his/her God given
talents and abilities.

Music Ministry |
|
|
Music is a high priority at
Ascension. God gave music to us as the highest expression
of our love, praise, and worship in a corporate setting.
Music, itself, is not the goal, but the means by which the
congregation worships together. Our worship services
combine hymns that have withstood the test of time with
contemporary songs of worship and choruses. The ultimate
goal is to present an offering of worship that is holy and
acceptable to God.
